President's Welcome
I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Welcome to the Baptist Ministers Conference of Northern Virginia and Vicinity website.
In a recent article, over the past twenty-five years in the United States, forty million people have left the traditional Christian church. When you consider the myriad of situations including the formerly churched, the never churched, those that have yet to decide a path with Christ and the social injustices we face on many fronts, we can agree that ministry and spreading the gospel in the 21st century presents many challenges.
While the message of the gospel has not changed, the methods we must employ may need revisiting in this post-pandemic era we now live in.
My administration’s theme addresses these challenges by “Equipping those who equip others for 21st century ministry.” Our desire is to provide you with the tools, teachings, assistance and fellowship you may need to further your ministry.
By aligning yourself with this conference, here you will find like-minded ministers and pastors willing to collaborate and work with one another. This is a safe space for everyone to share their concerns, experiences and struggles.
Our prayer is for you to join with us as we endeavor to further the cause of Christ and spread the gospel.
